It is with deep regret that Jackson Community Ambulance announces the line of duty death of EMT Cheryl Lynn Kiefer, who lost her life at approximately 0900 hrs, January 26, after being struck at the scene of motor vehivle collision on I-94 near Kalmbach Road in Sylvan Township, MI. EMT Kiefer was assisting a driver who had gone off the road when another motorist lost control of his vehicle which rolled over and into EMT Kiefer

Following the funeral, there will be a procession from the church to Highland Cemetery in Brooklyn for burial. All responding EMS personnel are encouraged to attend in uniform.
There will be a luncheon after the cemetery service at the Michigan International Speedway Entertainment Building.
