Will Merrins

A resident of Farmingdale, New York, Merrins is an EMS Captain for the Fire Department of the City of New York, a paramedic for Northshore-Long Island Jewish Health System EMS and a twenty-year veteran of the Water Witch Engine and Hose Company of the Farmingdale Volunteer Fire Department. He has also been a member of the Quaimbaug Volunteer Fire Company in Stonington, Connecticut for the past sixteen years

Captain Merrins has had a long association with the National EMS Memorial Service, serving as its New York State Regional Coordinator for many years. He has also been a program participant and has served in the Honor Guard at many of the Services held since 1995. Will has also assisted in the coordination of the National EMS Memorial Bike Ride through Long Island and New York City.
