Shirley E. Bagby

Shirley retired as Administrative Specialist for the Virginia Association of Volunteer Rescue Squads, Inc. in August 2000. Her employment with VAVRS since May 1986 led to her involvement with the National EMS Memorial Service.

Bagby had been actively involved with the National EMS Memorial Service since 1993 where she served as Vice President and Family Relations Chair. She retired in 2010 after having been actively involved in all National Memorial Services to that date and helping oversee the successful move of the Service to it's new home in Colorado Springs for the 2010 National EMS Memorial Service.

A resident of Richmond, Virginia, Shirley returned to VAVRS in April of 2008 as Administrative Secretary on a part-time basis.
